October 4

I am extremely bored right now. It is 2:30 am and I am at my friends house. No one is awake but me. I have all this energy and feel like going and running around the block a few times. To keep myself occupied, i'm watching Sportscenter on ESPN and listening to my ipod. Currently, i'm listening to Aerosmith.

Also the St. Louis Blues hockey team beat the dreaded Detroit Red Wings for the second day in a row, this makes me very happy.

07 August 2009

I found this really good musician today. He sings kind of like 80s style of music. His name is Michael Bormann, and he's said that he's been called the German Jon Bon Jovi. I like his music, and I hope you do as well.

something funny

A friend of mine showed me this site. It is really funny. The site is about harry potter characters in situations you would not expect. A couple of really great videos came from the site. The Harry Potter characters from the site are puppets, which makes it all the more amusing.

politics in the US

I am glad we have a new president in the united states. Although I will miss the "great moments in presidential speeches" that Letterman would show on the Late show. I especially like the fact that on SNL they made fun of former president Bush making up words. With Obama in office, i doubt we'll have much to laugh at in his speeches. He is a much better speaker than Bush was and is far more charismatic.

I am also glad that Hilary Clinton is the new secretary of state. This means that Darrell Hammond can once again do his impressions of former president Bill Clinton. This makes me very happy.

my winter break

School is officially over for the semester. WOOHOO!!!!!! I get to continue to work in the lab at school until Dec. 24, then I have to turn in my keys. I don't mind turning in my keys so long as I can get them back at the start of the next semester. It is funny because my key labeled "lab 1" is supposed to open the door to the lab; however, it opens the door across the hall.

I bought 2 books last week. I bought Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal, both by author Thomas Harris. Silence of the Lambs is 367 pages and I managed to read it in 3-4 days. Now I am really excited because I can start reading Hannibal. In this book, the reader should get a very good idea of how Hannibal feels about Clarice. It was there in Silence, but in Hannibal it should be more obvious.

I plan to save my book for when I go and house sit for my friend when she goes back to KC for the holidays. I'll be house sitting for her for almost a week. I don't know what i'll do after that with the rest of my free time. I'll have to get some suggestions from people. I hope to go and see a comedian.
